A Wrap Up: e4m Pride of India Brands -The Best of South Awards

ShareChat’s leadership introduces leading brands to some amazing facts & debunks some common myths to meaningfully engage with Dakshin Bharat.

e4m group hosted the first edition of Pride of India Brands - The Best of South conference and award ceremony in Bangalore on August 26, 2022. The day-long conference involved a host of speakers, panel discussions and engaging activities around the theme - Building Brands for India: A View from the South. Subsequent to the conference, the event also had an awards ceremony to recognise some of the most successful brands in the South of India.

To help brands address the complexities of the diverse South Indian market through the power of social media, ShareChat joined hands with e4m group as the title sponsor for the event. Team ShareChat engaged in a series of activities that aided top decision-makers from the advertising and marketing community in the South to understand the nuances of Dakshin Bharat and how digital can be an enabler in driving impactful brand narratives.

Ajit Varghese, Chief Commercial Officer, ShareChat and Moj, initiated the proceedings at the event with a special address on the topic ‘Leveraging the Power of Culture and Content.’ The presentation immediately caught everyone’s attention as it introduced the audience to some lesser-known facts about Bharat and the ShareChat ecosystem. Furthermore, it cleared quite a few preconceived notions about social media and brought to the fore the various ad formats of ShareChat and Moj that could aid brands in the delivery of their desired brand messaging.


Besides the special address, Amit Zunjarwad, Chief Product Officer, ShareChat & Moj also took part in a panel discussion. Titled, ‘Advertising in the Southern Markets: What Works, What Doesn’t’, the panel delved into the traditions, languages, beliefs and experiences that marketers need to keep in mind while crafting messages for consumers in Dakshin Bharat.

To engage with the attendees at the event, ShareChat conducted a fun and enagaging Bharat Quiz, where brands and marketers got to test their knowledge about Bharat. The winner of the Bharat Quiz took home a brand new iPhone 13.
